Tulsa State Fair Repairs

It was very nice to have repairs made in the milking parlor before the Tulsa State Fair.
To my knowledge, there were no fingers caught in the stall gate mechanisms this time.

Thank you to all who cleaned up manure and the spilled feed in the milking parlor and hosed down the floors and the mats.  This was the CLEANEST I've ever seen the parlor stay since my daughter started showing five years ago.

If you know of anything else that needs repaired before the 2014 Tulsa State Fair, please comment on this blog post by October 31st.

Public Service Announcement: WHITE JEANS!!!

Just in case you need some and didn't know, NASCO sells white Wrangler jeans in YOUTH and ADULT sizes.

2013 Guernsey National Convention

I've been checking out the pictures and activities of the Guernsey convention in Tulsa.  It looks like the Chupps and friends have really been running a first-rate operation!  Everyone looks like they are having a great time!  Best wishes to them in all of their efforts at the convention and the sale!

Jersey Field Day is TOMORROW!!!

The world-famous Crescent Ag Farm and Show Facility will be host to the Oklahoma Jersey Field Day tomorrow!
As always, there will be judging, food, Dairy Max swag, and all the brightest and best-looking people in attendance!  (You WILL be there, won't you?)
We hope to see you tomorrow morning at 9 A.M.  Have a good trip!

Holstein Field Day

Tomorrow is Holstein Field Day in Kingfisher at Mason's Dairy.

Keep racking up those judging points.  I can hardly wait to see someone walk away with $1000 in July!  It's so exciting!

Ayrshire / Milking Shorthorn Field Day

We're all going to (hopefully) rest a little the remainder of this week before we head on out to another fantastic Dairy Field Day!
Next Tuesday we will all head to Cushing for the Ayrshire and Milking Shorthorn dairy field day!

For those who need some round-about directions:
Highway 33 East into Cushing.
Ag building/complex is on the right side of the highway as you go through town.
If you get to Atwoods, you've gone too far.  You can check out the Atwoods specials AFTER the field day is over.   Mmmm.  Love me some Atwoods.
